This webinar is an introduction to Mode Deactivation Therapy and application of the methodology for adolescents. This will include case conceptualization, mindfulness, acceptance, defusion and validation, clarification and redirection of functional alternative beliefs.

The objectives of this course are to:

1) Familiarize the participant with the conceptual basis of Mode Deactivation Therapy as a so-called “third-wave” methodology.

 2) Ensure that the participant understands the various assessments that lead to a Mode Deactivation Therapy case conceptualization, and the intervention steps that are derived from it.

3) Understand the core components of Mode Deactivation Therapy Treatment.
