Day 3

Developing the MDT Case Conceptualization (the collaborative process)

  • Review questions, answers and issues from previous day.
  • Conglomerate of Beliefs and Behaviors (COBB)
  • Triggers, Fears, Avoids, Beliefs (TFAB)
  • Validate, Clarify, Redirect (VCR)
  • Functional Treatment Development
  • Submit questions and issues for clarification

Day 4

View DVD and Identify V-C-R

  • Review questions, answers and issues from previous day.
  • Centering-Mindfulness-Meditation (Learn how to keep it simple for adolescents)
  • VCR-DVD: score the VCR's in DVD #4.
  • Using the scales
  • In vivo practice of V-C-R
  • Treating the uncooperative or resistant adolescent

Clarification and Assignments (complete by 2pm)

  • Review questions, answers and issues from previous day.
  • Instructions for video taping the session for the collaboration of TFAB & COBB
